This logo was made in adobe illustrator. I have used various tools like pathfinder and the eclipse tool to split the circle into two. To split the circle in half i put a line through the middle and used the minus front tool which is found under the pathfinder menu.I have rotated the two parts so they over lap leaving a 45 degree part out of the circle to make it look even and professional. The two half circles have there opacity lowered to 50% to make the half circles create a new colour where they overlap. The line that goes trough the logo was creating using the erasing tool. The MG are my initials and they represent my logo. The branding of the logo is the two half circles overlapping because i think its recognisable and easy to remember.
Here is another logo that i have reproduced in illustrator.
The blue outline around the logo is a stroke to the black circle of size 7. The cross is a rectangular box going down then copied, pasted and then i rated it 90 degrees to overlap the two boxes creating a cross. To keep similar colour on the logo i used the eyedropper tool.
I have used pathfinder tools to create the quarter of the circle by doing it like this:Selecting it and then using the pathfinder tool and pressing “Minus Front” tool.
